Project Description:
The proposed project concerns the construction upgrading of the National road Kalamata-Rizomylos-Pylos and Pylos-Methoni with a total length of 50km. Completion of the construction of the National road is necessary for the following reasons:
- Improving road infrastructure security in the SouthWestern Peloponnese.
- Improving the level of service of road users.
- Upgrading the offered tourist product by ensuring fast and safe travel.
- reduce transport costs and and increase the competitiveness of the primary and secondary sector of the regions economy.
